Last week my class and I went down to Omau creek to pick some Harakeke (flax) when we got down to the Omau creek Miss T our teacher was talking about harakeke when we got there.
Miss T our teacher shared some rules with us ( When it rain you must not cut the Harakeke, plus do not cut it during night because you don’t no which is The mother or father or the baby. The most important rule is to not cut the baby because the whole thing will die.
First thing we all did was sat down on the these mats and just look at Miss T our teacher when she told us the rules s she gave us a knife each to go cut the harakeke.
After we cut our harakeke we came back to school to do some plating we made flowers. The flower that I was doing was I failed mine so did our teacher Mis T.
